Teamwork

When my husband Mike and I came to the hospital knowing that labor would be induced, we had a lot of mixed emotions. As a Bayfront employee I felt good about the care I would receive although I do not work in the obstetrics unit and I didn’t have many opportunities to interact with the obstetrics staff on the third floor. Through labor, delivery, recovery and post partum the Bayfront staff was there for me, my husband and beautiful daughter Amelia Jane.

 

Labor and delivery nurses, Bev and Connie, were so kind and supportive they felt like part of my family by the time Amelia Jane was born.  During recovery and feeding Amelia Jane there was always someone there to call on if I needed help.  I felt secure knowing that even after I went home, I could call if I had any questions or worries about taking care of my baby.  

 

Having a baby is such a pivotal time – a brand new chapter in our life. I’ll always remember my doctor and the wonderful Bayfront staff.
